Matthieu Smyth is a professionally trained photographer located in Syracuse, New York. Matthieu is a multifaceted visual artist whose focus isn't on just one niche or subject matter, as he shoots not only weddings, parties and other events but also portraiture, commercial and other miscellaneous photography. He has a passion for capturing life as it unfolds and setting up scenerios to create works that provoke thought. When working with clients he uses his extensive knowledge and infuses his ideas with those of the client to create the highest caliber photographs that meet their desires.

Matthieu enjoys reading, particularly books on eastern philosophy. He doesn't consider himself a religious man, but a spiritual one. He is inspired by all things in the world around him, from the simple to the extravagant. His love for art and music is the driving force that fuels his passion for life.
